There
are hundreds of martial art styles out there, all with something to offer, but there is nothing out there quite like this!
Our aim is simple, to give the student the skills and the confidence to defend
themselves in a potentially threatening situation.
Most styles focus
on precise stances, long complicated kata (choreographed routines), complicated locks and combinations and so on. We focus
on developing your natural ability. We look at each student as an individual with their own strengths and weaknesses. We do
have a grading syllabus to teach you the foundations, but ultimatley we want our students to be the best they can be and have
confidence that they can walk home at night without fear of harm.
Our
syllabus incorporates TRIED AND TESTED methods of escape from a hundreds of scenarios. Our techniques are focused on the attack,
not the attack modified to suit the technique!
